Got Firefox?

If you aren’t a Firefox user, there’s no time like the present. If you haven’t seen the recent Firefox Flicks, use some weekend to catch up.
Stay tuned for an upcoming essay. You just might answer some of these questions:
- What’s the state of Linux on the desktop?
- Will your next computer run Windows, OS X or Linux?
- Will you upgrade your PC to run Windows Vista & Office 2007?
- Can anyone make money in PC’s any more?

Here is my personal state of computer affairs.
I use Firefox at home, but at work, it is required that I use I.E.
What’s the state of Linux on the desktop?
My personal desktop at home is Ubuntu Linux.
Will your next computer run Windows, OS X or Linux?
Linux – I’m just too happy with free software.
Will you upgrade your PC to run Windows Vista & Office 2007?
No, I don’t like DRM and the freedoms I loose, so I will stick with Linux. I use OpenOffice.org instead of Office.
Can anyone make money in PC’s any more?
Either you have to be really big or a niche player to make money. Both are challenging, but if there isn’t any money to be made, no one would do it.
