It’s time for a new laptop. The one I’m using is ready to be a hand-me-down. I’ve had it 9 months.

The questions go like this:

• Pentium 4-M or Pentium-M?
• Centrino or PC card for wireless access?
• Brands? – IBM, HP, Compaq…others?
• Price points?
