MICROSOFT WAKES UP FROM HIBERNATION

Microsoft has been working on its ’trustworthy computing’ initiative. Work on new product releases had been paused. Today I see these in the news:

• 64-bit Windows due early 2003
  
• Sharepoint 2.0 collaboration platform to be included in .NET OS
  
• No more separate servers requirement with .NET server 2003 [InfoWorld]
